Spanish was Diana's first language, but only for three years! Now a SAHM with three kids and a pup, she is clearing the dust from her brain to get closer to her family from Mexico City.
Eventually, James wants to live in either Mexico (at least for the winters) or Uruguay, and plans on traveling a lot regardless. He doesn't want "to be a dumb gringo, plus the language is just cool."
Katie is in a not-so-secret love affair with Mexico and wants to respect its amazing culture by learning its language. She also loves puzzles and keeping her brain spry and finds learning Spanish scratches that itch perfectly.
Chris wants to avoid mystery meats and sauces when ordering street tacos, talk his way out of tickets and foreign jails, and make new friends with available couches in case he and his family ever have to bug out.
